Natalie and Steve’s winter wedding at Rowton Castle

It was great to be back at the stunning Rowton Castle for Natalie and Steve’s winter wedding in late November. I’v shot at Rowton many times over the years and always find it to be a great venue for wedding photography, you can’t really go wrong with a 17th century castle surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside.

Christmas wedding at Rowton Castle

As we were approaching the end of November the castle was getting ready for christmas with a huge tree outside and festive decorations inside. Nat and Steve had also adopted a wintery theme with their table decorations, but not too much so that it was xmas overload. Another fantastic touch that I had never seen before was a mini bar in-a-jar on each table with various alcoholic shots!

Reportage wedding photography at Rowton Castle

Natalie and Steve wanted a relaxed wedding with less formalities than some. I often find clients book me when they are looking for a relaxed day as my style of photography is far less formal than the traditional. We only did a handful of group photos but instead concentrated on the natural shots that tell the story of the day.

It was great to be back at Rowton Castle and I had a great day shooting Nat and Steve’s wedding. It’s always great when I book clients who’s expectations for the day match my style so well.
