Here is another of my many brilliant Pendrell Hall weddings from last year. Here we have Jo and Angus tying the knot with a small intimate gathering of family and friends.
Joe and Angus had some really cool ideas for this wedding. They had arranged a bird of pray display for after the ceremony as a surprise to the family and friends, needless to say it went down very well and gave me an excellent opportunity to capture some great shots.
Pendrell Hall weddings
To keep this a surprise they arranged for the birds to be at the back of Pendrell hall. for those not familiar with the venue Pendrelll has a huge lawned garden at the rear but still has ample space at the front of the building for guests to mingle. After the ceremony everyone went out to the front for welcome drinks and confetti whilst the birds were set up at the back. After 15 minutes or so we led the guests back through the house to enjoy the display and take turns holding the birds. For this interested the company who brought the birds are called Ring on a Wing.
50’s inspired wedding
Something else I loved at this wedding was the theme, there was a 50’s element to the styling which suits Pendrell Hall weddings perfectly. Also the attention to detail of the flowers and tables were all outstanding. That said the theme didn’t go too far, just the right amount of details and touches to add some lovely styling to the venue.
After the speeches and first dance we had opportunity to nip back outside to shoot a few evening shots before I left. Just as I was loading up the car I spotted the guts having a crafty Jägermeister with some friends in the car park.. naturally this had to be shot before heading home!
