Andrea and Darrens Autumn wedding at Moddershall Oaks

I had the pleasure of being Andrea and Darren’s wedding photographer a few weeks ago. The couple got married at Moddershall Oaks which is close to Stone,  Staffordshire. I’ve shot many wedding at Moddershall over the years and find it to be a great venue in all seasons. Andrea and Darren were even considering having an outdoor ceremony but sadly the rain put the brakes on that idea. However, the indoor ceremony room looked fantastic.

Bridal prep

Andrea prepared herself early in the morning for her wedding at mums house. She had her bridesmaids and mum there to help out and it was great to capture the emotions as Andrea gave out some presents. Wedding transport was provided by Anthony James wedding cars and a family member who also owned a stunning classic car.

After prep I made my way to Moddershall to catch up with Darren and his groomsmen. It wasn’t long until Andrea arrived and it was soon time for the ceremony.

Following the ceremony guests mingled in the bar while the newly weds went for a quick spin in the car to give them some alone time.

Although we had some rain throughout the day there were enough dry spells to get some great shots around Moddershall’s impressive grounds. The autumn colours looked beautiful over the lake and I’m pleased we had the opportunity to shoot outside.

Into the evening there was a great band who got everyone dancing immediately after the first dance. Andrea and Darren had a real fun crowd at the wedding which gave me plenty of antics to photograph on the dance-floor.
