Heaton House Farm winter wedding
It was over two years ago that Sheri and Marcus booked me as their wedding photographer at Heaton House Farm, that was before I’d worked there and become a recommended supplier. Over those two years I worked at Heaton many times but I’d never shot a Christmas wedding there so I was looking forward to seeing all those magical festive touches incorporated into their wedding theme. Well things just couldn’t have been better for a Christmas wedding, we had a beautiful snowfall and Heaton House farm looked absolutely stunning surrounded by the white rollings hills of the Cheshire countryside.
Not only had mother nature delivered the weather outside but the events team had once again excelled themselves inside with the most amazing decor, Christmas tree’s and details I’ve ever seen – The scene was set for a perfect winter wonderland wedding.
When I arrived Sheri was in getting ready in Cloud View with loads of friends and relatives on hand helping her get ready for her wedding whilst Marcus waited patiently in the entrance barn with his groomsmen and and friends. When it was time for the ceremony, Amy – one of Heaton House Farms expert wedding coordinators – moved the guests through into the wedding barn ready for the ceremony which took place under the twinkling night sky effect ceiling which added to the Christmassy romance.
After the ceremony we were starting to loose the light so I took the newlyweds and guests outside for a quick photoshoot to make the most of the beautiful snowy scenery in the water-gardens and grounds around the unmissable sycamore tree. After a quick photo session the light was starting to fae and temperature was starting to drop so everyone went back inside ready for a wonderful wedding breakfast prepared by recommended caterers Vanilla in Allseasons before some highly entertaining speeches followed.
This was my last wedding of 2014 and I couldn’t think of a better way for it to go out with a bang than Heaton House Farm in the snow..at Christmas!
