Ashleigh and Adams wedding at Rodbaston Hall

I loved photographing Ashleigh and Adam’s wedding a few weeks ago. Rodbaston Hall in Stafford, Staffordshire was the chosen venue for the celebration and what a fantastic venue they had selected. I’ve worked at Rodbaston a number of times over the years and its always  pleasure to capture weddings there.

The guys getting ready

Ashleigh got ready at his families house on the morning of the wedding. He was accompanied by  bridesmaids and family all there eager to help out. I then nipped over to the couples house to see Adam making his final preparations.

Both grooms were set to arrive in vintage wedding cars. Adam arrived first with Ashleigh not far behind.

With everyone ready it was time for the wedding ceremony. Family and friends were present to  witness Ashleigh and Adam exchange vows in what was a fun yet emotional ceremony.

After the ceremony the wedding party enjoyed a lovely reception at outside at Rodbaston. It was a really sunny day, which put a smile on everyones face, and really set the scene for a relaxed wedding party. Everyone was in a celebratory mood and was having fun with the lawn games the guys had prepared for them.

Quintessential wedding day dogs

I have to give a special mention to  this rather unique service Ashleigh and Adam booked for their wedding. Quintessential wedding day dogs will bring your dogs to your wedding and take them home again, which is exactly what these guys needed for their big day.

After the speeches and the wedding breakfast guests mingled outside to enjoy the evening sun. Some lovely handmade ice-cream was on offer which went down a treat on such a hot day. The DJ Hire and Hitch soon got the dance floor going and it was time for the first dance.

Ashleigh and Adam created a fantastic wedding and I’m very grateful they trusted in me to capture their special day. Please do get in touch if you’d like to know more about my photography.
