I absolutely love photographing weddings at Pendrell Hall; I never fail to be inspired by this architecturally stunning Victorian country house estate, which offers an incredibly diverse variety of beautiful backdrops for your wedding photographs.
Buzzing with Excitement
I love arriving well before the guests, when the venue’s fantastic Events Manager is buzzing around putting those final touches to the venue dressing and the Bridal Party is giddy with excitement, often enjoying a glass of bubbly in the amazing Bridal Preparation Suite.
It’s the perfect opportunity for me to capture some images of all those personal touches you’ve so thoughtfully chosen; the flowers, the wedding cake; your table plan and any decorations.
The excitement builds once your guests start to arrive and I enjoy capturing those warm greetings between friends old and new.
Guests are invited to mingle in the Oak Panelled Entrance Hall prior to the ceremony, which is the perfect setting for some fabulous photographs. It features an extravagant fireplace complete with wing backed armchairs and a simply magnificent three-arch colonnade; dream backdrops for timeless wedding photographs.
The Morning Room is most often used for weddings at Pendrell Hall, although I’m really looking forward to shooting an outdoor ceremony next summer, in the venue’s newly licensed Bandstand. I can’t wait to photograph my lovely couples exchanging vows in such a stunning English garden setting.
Capturing the emotion of the ceremony, the loving glances between the Bride and Groom, their fingertips barely touching… is what it’s all about for me. I never forget that your loved one’s reactions at the ceremony are often some of the most touching images from your special day and the natural light which floods The Morning Room makes capturing those moments an absolute pleasure.
Relaxed and Informal
I think the fact that it’s an exclusive-use venue, helps to make weddings at Pendrell Hall super relaxed and informal. All the guests know and love either the Bride or the Groom, so everyone has that in common and because they have the whole place to themselves, everyone is so much more relaxed; which makes capturing natural, emotionally charged, gorgeous images of your wedding day that much easier!
There are six acres of lush gardens to explore at Pendrell Hall, offering up plenty of fantastic backdrops for some incredible images of just the two of you. You can talk a short stroll along the atmospheric woodland walks, discover the original walled gardens, traverse the magnificent formal lawns and shelter under the bandstand, to name just a few options.
There are so many visually stunning possibilities at Pendrell Hall, all we need is love, laughter, a little imagination and your photographs will be magical.
