Just in case the followers of my blog aren’t missing the warm weather enough already here is another beautiful late summer wedding. This time at one of my favourite venues Heaton House Farm. Katie and Chris got married in mid September and were blessed with a warm sunny day, perfect for enjoying the magnificent views surrounding Heaton and enjoying drinks on the lawns.
When I arrived at Heaton the girls were all getting ready in the bridal suite. Katie had her mum and bridesmaids all on hand to help her out, all the girls seemed to be buzzing for katie and the atmosphere was electric. I was fortunate enough to capture some super emotional gift exchanges and not to forget a monkey called Southport wearing some wedding shoes!
Wedding ceremonies at Heaton House Farm
I caught up with Chris and his groomsmen putting on their button holes outside shortly before the wedding ceremony. Heaton has a few rooms which are licensed for ceremonies, as well as the outdoor option. On this occasion Katie and Chris had opted for the Entrance Barn, which has an Oak beamed ceiling and great natural light.
Heaton House Farm Water Gardens
After the ceremony everyone was able to go outdoors to relax in the sunshine. Katie and Chris wanted relaxed and natural wedding photography, so I spent most of my time capturing the guests enjoying themselves before moving onto the Stunning water gardens for some bride and groom photos.
The Staffordshire Toastmaster
Katie and Chris had booked The Staffordshire Toastmaster to host their day. I’v worked with Wayne a few times and he’s a great guy. Having a Toastmaster is a great way to keep the guests entertained whilst helping to keep things running to time.
