Hi I’m Cris, a wedding photographer in Staffordshire
I capture weddings with a creative documentary style to tell the story of your wedding. What does this mean? It means you guys get to spend more time at your wedding and less time posing for photos.
Great photography – less posing
It’s the real moments that truly matter which is why primarily I’m a documentary wedding photographer. By spending more time photographing real moments and capturing whats really going on your photos are a true reflection of the story of your wedding.
Natural wedding photography
My style of wedding photography is all about keeping it real, I wont be doing all the traditional generic stuff of days gone by that has no substance. Of course we won’t forget the all important family groups and creative portraits of the bride and groom, the set wouldn’t be complete without them.

Family & Children photography
As well as weddings I also offer relaxed family photoshoots out on location where the you and your family can run free. I prefer outdoor photoshoots, sometime called lifestyle photography as its much more natural than against a white background in a studio. Often younger children are more at ease outside on a walk somewhere like Cannock chase where they can play and be themselves.
All my shoots are fun and relaxed, with the emphasis on capturing the personality and natural expressions of your children leading to classic and cheerful images you’ll treasure.
I also offer commercial photography such as headshots and products, as well as musician/actor portfolio.
My approach to telling your story
Being a wedding photographer in Staffordshire is my ideal job, sharing happy days with happy couple and telling their story with my photography.
Every wedding has its own unique story. Not just in terms of the details such as flowers and the dress but in terms of all the family and friends you’ve chosen to share this special occasion with.
On the day itself, I work as a part of your wedding rather than in charge of it, capturing moments naturally as they happen in a relaxed, photojournalistic style.
We can still get some relaxed and creative shots for your wedding album, and of course some family group shots, just we won’t spend hours on these so you can spend more time enjoying the day.
I’m pleased to be a recommended supplier for Heaton House farm, and have worked at many venues throughout the area including Pendrell Hall, The Moat House, Cranage Hall, The Ashes, The Mill, Somerford Hall, Weston Hall to name but a few.
