Hi I’m Cris, a wedding photographer in Staffordshire.
Your wedding will be one of the most important days of your lives. You’ll carefully plan for months, even years and the day itself will be over in a flash… so thats where I come in. Your photographs will not only serve as your memory of the day but also as a talking point for future generations in years to come…so let’s focus on the things that really matter and capturing the essence of the day as it really was.
I’m primarily a documentary wedding photographer, this means I spend more time photographing real moments and capturing whats really going on than I do posing and setting things up. Your photographs will be natural, not traditional.
Of course we’ll still shoot some family groups and creative portraits if you want to, but lets capture more of the real and less of the contrived, its the real moments that tell the story of your wedding.
Natural wedding photography
I’m looking to shoot your wedding as it really was. I wont be doing all the traditional generic stuff of days gone by that has no substance.
I want your photos to be your own and a true representation of the day, the people who were there and the moments that you remember
Relaxed and informal
We’ve all heard the horror stories about photographers who take endless group photos or turn the wedding day into a photoshoot
Thats really not me
I’ll only shoot the groups that are important to you and we’ll quickly create some relaxed wedding portraits, leaving you with more time to enjoy the day
Wedding photography in Staffordshire

Family & Children photography
As well as weddings I also offer relaxed family photoshoots out on location where the you and your family can run free. I prefer outdoor photoshoots, sometime called lifestyle photography as its much more natural than against a white background in a studio. Often younger children are more at ease outside on a walk somewhere like Cannock chase where they can play and be themselves.
All my shoots are fun and relaxed, with the emphasis on capturing the personality and natural expressions of your children leading to classic and cheerful images you’ll treasure.
Every wedding has its own unique story. Not just in terms of the details such as powers and the dress but in terms of all the family and friends you’ve chosen to share this special occasion with.
On the day itself, I work as a part of your wedding rather than in charge of it, capturing moments naturally as they happen in a relaxed, photojournalistic style. My personable style places storytelling at the heart of every picture, and making sure I capture the little moments between you and your loved ones makes each photo special. This laid back approach to capturing the actual shots means you can spend less time posing and taking direction from me, and more time spending time in the company of your loved ones on your special day.
We can still get some relaxed and creative shots for your wedding album, and of course some family group shots.
This makes it both an easy and enjoyable process, and ensures the pictures tell the story of your wedding exactly as you want to remember it.
I’m pleased to be a recommended supplier for Heaton House farm, and have worked at many venues throughout the area including Pendrell Hall, The Moat House, Cranage Hall, The Ashes, Hadley Park Hotel, Somerford Hall, Weston Hall, Slaters Country House, Bishton Hall and Ingestre Hall to name but a few. By working at a wide range of venues I’ve learnt to quickly determine the best spots and find the perfect light.
